dr. hilde arizona primary eye care tucson optometrist Dr. Stephanie Hilde is a doctor at Arizona Primary Eye Care and strives to provide high quality, evidence-based, and compassionate eye care.
She was born and raised in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Dr. Hilde then went on to complete her bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in biochemistry from the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. While in college, she met her husband, Casey. They enjoy walking their dog, biking and hiking together. Dr. Hilde then moved to Phoenix, Arizona to continue her optometric education at Midwestern University Arizona College of Optometry.
Dr. Hilde joined Arizona Primary Eye Care in September of 2019 after completing her degree from Midwestern University where she was a member of Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society and helped train other students as a teaching assistant. Dr. Hilde attended externships where her training focused on cataract and refractive surgery co-management, diabetic co-management, vision therapy, pediatrics, and specialty contact lenses.
She is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Arizona Optometric Association, the Southern Arizona Optometric Society, and the Scleral Lens Education Society.
Dr. Hilde’s professional interests include specialty contact lenses, keratoconus, diabetic co-management, cataract surgery co-management, pediatric eye exams, and treating eye infections.
