Dr. Leigha Little joined Arizona Primary Eye Care in 2015. She moved all around the west as a kid but considers Lake Havasu City, AZ her hometown. She was the first in her family to attend college, receiving her BS in Physiology from the University of Arizona. She then moved to Memphis, TN to attend Southern College of Optometry where she was awarded Outstanding Clinician. After graduating in 2013, she returned to Tucson to complete a residency in ocular disease and low vision at the Southern Arizona VA hospital.
Dr. Little is a member of the American Optometric Association, Arizona Optometric Association, and Southern Arizona Optometric Society. She has served in mission trips to Honduras, Mexico, and most recently Haiti, where she spent one month training doctors and staff at the Humbly I Serve Vision and Medical Center in Cap-Haitian. She specializes in general optometry and ocular disease, including diabetic eye care and treatment and management of glaucoma.
After returning to Tucson for her residency, Dr. Little met her wonderful husband Chris, and they now have a joyful one year old little boy. During their free time, the Littles enjoy volunteering in the community and with their church, watching movies, and game nights with friends and family.
